BIG BATTERY HUNT IN LYNCH HILL

Thursday 19th April 2018

Our Eco council have been collecting batteries for recycling under a 'battery bunny' scheme run by Duracel.

Did you know, over 20,000 tones of batteries end up in landfill sites in the UK each year! That's as heavy as about 4,000 elephants. WOW!

As a school  have recycled AAA,AA,C and D batteries of any make (not just Duracell).

We have collected  a total of 1,567 batteries. Isn't that AMAZING!

Keep recycling and keep our planet safe and healthy !
